Evangelism Ministries
This ministry focuses on building young people who are vibrant, passionate, confident, and goal driven. Young people meet every Friday to pray tackle day to day issues like low self-esteem, careers, physical and spiritual. This ministry aims at creating tomorrow’s leaders today. This ministry has an extension of Youth Cells that focuses on reintroducing church to young people through social engagements.
This ministry is responsible for evangelism and leading people to Christ. It also takes care of the pastoral needs of the congregation.
At World Gospel Impact Church, we have home-based meeting platforms to complement large Sunday gatherings and to provide more individualised spiritual and social care. Home cells are one of our drivers of evangelism and has been seen to be doing extremely well in retaining existing church members.
Support Ministries
All members, under the leadership of WGIC, are responsible for outreach activities designed to do the work commanded by Jesus to make disciples of all nations by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry serves to reach to the ends of Durban creating a footprint for WGIC through word of mouth and door to door evangelism.
This ministry is responsible for instilling family values and reviving the family unit regardless of family dynamics.
Build and maintain church structures. Ensures international standards of our facilities.
Social ministry has a role in our church’s overall community service. It meets the physical needs of our community and of our members that are currently unable to provide for their families.
Service Ministries
Ushers are spiritual ambassadors for the WGIC. They serve as a “first representative” of Jesus Christ for our worship services. Our hosts set the stage for the worship experience and are literally part of the continuing story of God’s redemption. They create and maintain order throughout our services. They serve as our to-go-to ministry.
The objective of our Media Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world using technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool. By this we are aiming to enhance the worship experience, communicating with the congregation, extending the congregation beyond the walls of the church, and proliferating the message. This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings, and sermons.
Our vibrant and dynamic worship team consist of lead singers, band and sound backing vocalist. We have the best in the game. Meeting Wednesday and Thursday to polish their gift and make sure they deliver nothing but the best on Sunday.
Known as tomorrow’s church, this ministry groom and nurture young minds through teachings and activities. The main objective of this ministry is to instill good morals and ethics at a very tender age.
Administration Ministry
Gives directions and leadership to the congregation. This ministry is responsible for managing all church activities. It is known as the glue that hold every ministry and every task together.
